Kashmir - A Place To Take From

Seasons changed,
people grew older but the land remained untouchable.
Blotched with imprints of innocent lives within the granules of the ever giving soulful soil,
it was bountiful indeed.
Spiced with the nature of conflict and unvarying honeycomb,
the intruders,
the hornets kept visiting and insisted on taking what ever was left of the magnificence.
If only there was anything left at all.
Like the crevices in this doorway,
loopholes grew larger but the land perished on with everyone waiting for its demise.
